Agree on the type of food you’d like to have, which is for the most part finger food. If you so choose you can join a registry to give your guest an idea of what you would want as gifts at your party. However, this party is not about the gifts so you may opt not to have a registry. This party is all about your engagement so you should be prepared to give toasts and if your guests takes gives for you, you should be prepared to send thank you notes so you must pay special attention to which person gave each gift.
